During your initial service, we'll perform an extensive inspection of the inside of your home, using our high-powered flash lights and investigatory tools, seeking out sources of your existing pest problems while identifying any conditions that could contribute to current or future pest issues. We'll also thoroughly inspect the exterior of your home's structure, evaluating specific pest management needs and uncovering any conducive pest conditions.
During your initial service, and anytime you need us throughout the program, our highly skilled, security-screened technician will provide treatment to resolve any current pest activity inside your home along with strategic placement of pest monitoring devices where necessary. Any application we provide is done in a cautious and environmentally responsible manner. Any products we use are applied following strict guidelines and product labels. We pride ourselves on using the latest, most-advanced technology that will provide a low impact on the environment, but lasting protection against pests.
Pest Proofing & Cleanup
During each service, your technician will always be on the look out for ways pests are or could infiltrate your house. They will seal any small gaps or openings using steel wool or sealant, when and where accessible. In addition, we'll be sure to remove any dead insects, cobwebs along eaves, entryways, and overhangs and spider egg sacs along eaves, entryways, overhangs and any other areas that your technician identifies.
Your dedicated Witt technician will treat all accessible areas on the exterior of your home, from the the roofline, down and around, ensuring that all the critical areas and entry points have the necessary protection to eliminate and prevent pests.
Ground level: patios, decks, walkways, fence-lines, lattice, mulch and flower beds
Exterior walls: around windows and door frames, lighting, vents, downspouts, plumbing lines and wiring
Overhangs: soffit/fascia, dormers, flashings, eaves and overhangs
Early warning termite detection stations will be installed strategically around your home. Each station is anchored by an 8 inch soil stake that can intercept termites foraging close to or well-below the soil surface, and the cardboard in the chamber at the top of the stake provides a food source for termites that contact the stake. In conjunction with each scheduled treatment, your technician will also monitor and maintain these stations and alert you if any termite activity is detected and the appropriate course of action.
All of your service information is captured by your Witt technician on their smart phone application and available to you through our customer portal on our website. Upon completion of each visit, you will receive a detailed report listing all services provided, pests detected and any observations and recommendations. This report can also be emailed to you.
